Twenty-five years later, we still remember.

Today, we honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families who were forever changed, and the first responders, military members, and ordinary Americans who ran toward danger to help others.

We remember the courage, sacrifice, and service that emerged from one of the darkest days in our nation’s history.

The City of Woodbury invites our community to pause together throughout the day for moments of silence in remembrance:

🕊️ 8:46 AM — 1st plane struck the North Tower
🕊️ 9:03 AM — 2nd plane struck the South Tower
🕊️ 9:37 AM — Flight 77 struck the Pentagon
🕊️ 9:59 AM — South Tower collapsed
🕊️ 10:03 AM — Flight 93 crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania
🕊️ 10:28 AM — North Tower collapsed

If you are able, please join us in observing these moments of silence wherever you are.

Today, we remember the lives lost.
We honor those who served.
We stand with the families who continue to carry that loss.
