Our amazing volunteers are the fuel that powers Meals on Wheels North Jersey. And today we are celebrating volunteer, Joe Holloschutz who has always been ready, willing and able to answer the call in a pinch when another driver has a last minute emergency and can't drive their route. Joe delivers meals to our clients with a big smile and a warm heart. Thank you, Joe for being a Meals on Wheels superstar!

**A Note of Gratitude**

One of the most meaningful parts of our work is hearing from the families of the clients we have been privileged to serve.

Over the years, we have received countless letters, cards, and messages from sons, daughters, and loved ones expressing their gratitude for the care, companionship, and reliability our volunteers and staff provided during their parents' later years of life.

These heartfelt notes remind us that a meal is so much more than food. It is a friendly face at the door, a daily wellness check, a moment of connection, and a source of comfort and independence for older adults who wish to remain in their own homes.

To the families who have taken the time to share their stories and thank us for being part of their loved ones' lives—please know that your words mean the world to us. They inspire our volunteers, affirm our mission, and remind us why this work matters.
