🌄 This week, our adventurous 4th and 5th graders embarked on an exciting journey up Pikes Peak. They experienced breathtaking views, learned about the local ecology, and made memories that will last a lifetime. We're so proud of our young explorers for embracing the great outdoors and all the lessons that nature teaches us.

🎉 Exciting News from 3rd Grade! 🎨📚

Some of our talented third graders have taken their creativity to the next level! Inspired by the enchanting novel "Tale of Despereaux," they've designed their very own board game. The game captures the spirit of adventure, courage, and friendship found in the story.

🍃✨ Outdoor Classroom Alert! ✨🍃

This week, our adventurous second graders had an unforgettable science class at Aspen Valley Ranch! 🌲🌟

🌿Through hands-on experiments and nature explorations, they discovered how the world around us can transform and change states. It’s not every day that you get to learn about solids, liquids, and gases in such a dynamic environment! 🌿🔬

🌿 Exploring the great outdoors with our third graders at Aspen Valley Ranch! 🍃 This week was all about hands-on learning as our students dove into the fascinating world of nature. From examining skulls and furs to understanding how different environments shape survival strategies - a day filled with discovery and wonder.

🌍💧In 6th grade, as part of their English project, Mrs. Richardson's students researched charities that help underdeveloped countries with basic needs, like clean water, health care, electricity, and shelter.

📚💡The students then wrote and presented persuasive essays to the class about the one charity they thought was the best one. 📝🎤 After hearing all of the essays, the class voted for the top charity and chose GivePower, helping areas in need with clean water and solar power. ☀️💦

🥤Thursday and Friday last week, the 6th graders put on a rootbeer float fundraiser at Gateway and earned $230! 🎉They are going to combine this with proceeds from a 6th grade bake sale earlier in the year to send a total donation of $373! 🍰💰

🌟They are so excited to be able to donate to their chosen charity, GivePower! Great work, 6th graders!!
