Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸

Today, we honor the hardworking men and women whose dedication, sacrifice, and commitment keep our community moving forward. Your efforts strengthen our families, support our local economy, and help build a stronger community and a brighter tomorrow.

Labor Day is an opportunity to recognize the dignity of work and to express our gratitude to everyone who contributes each day—our educators, first responders, healthcare professionals, tradespeople, small business owners, public employees, service workers, and so many others.

Strong people build strong communities, and here in Prospect Park, we are grateful for all those whose hard work and service make our Borough a better place to live, work, and raise a family.

Happy Labor Day! Today, our Borough honors the hard work, dedication, and vital contributions of the American labor movement, which built our country and continues to keep our community strong.

Today, on , we honor the workers who keep our communities moving, growing, and thriving.

For generations, Black workers have been at the center of the fight for fair wages, safe working conditions, economic opportunity, and the right to be treated with dignity on the job.

Labor rights are civil rights. And the fight for an economy where everyone can work, thrive, and build a future is far from over.

CASA Volunteers... visit a child in foster care at least once per month, gather information, and advocate for the child's best interests in court. On average a CASA Volunteer spends 10-15 hours per month in their volunteer role.
