📚 Here’s what’s happening at the Woodland Park Public Library at Berkeley College this week!

Please note:
We will be closed this Monday September 7th, and Saturday September 12th. The Children’s Room will continue to be closed.

Our final day at Berkeley College will be September 18th, and we look forward to welcoming you to the new library at our Grand Opening on October 4th!

🎉 A NEW CHAPTER BEGINS! 📚✨

The wait is almost over! We are thrilled to announce the Grand Opening Celebration of the NEW Alfred H. Baumann Free Public Library!
After years of planning, hard work, and dreaming about what our library could become, we are ready to welcome our community into a beautiful new space designed for our community and built for the future.❤️

Come celebrate this exciting new chapter with us! More details about the Grand Opening celebration will be coming soon.

📚Please note that our last day at our temporary location is September 18th. From September 8th–18th, the temporary location will be open for holds pick-up and drop off only as we prepare for the move. The Book Drop at Berkeley College will be available until September 19th.📚

The Nancy Grace Roman telescope will launch this morning! This telescope was named after the first Chief Astronomer at NASA. This telescope is much more powerful than the Hubble telescope that is currently in space. It could potentially change the way we look at the universe. Launch time is 7:20 am. Step into the glamour of 1930s Hollywood for an unforgettable evening of mystery, suspense, and fun at the Friends of the Alfred H. Baumann Free Public Library’s Murder Mystery Night!

🗓 Friday, October 16, 2026
🕖 7:00 PM (Doors open at 6:30 PM)
📍 American Legion Post #238
410 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Woodland Park

🎬 Test your detective skills as you work to solve a thrilling whodunit presented by The Murder Mystery Co.

✨ Costumes are encouraged!
🥪 Bring your own food & drinks
☕ We’ll provide coffee and dessert!
🎁 Prize baskets, a 50/50 raffle, and plenty of surprises throughout the evening!
