At Yolo CASA, our volunteers are trained to show up consistently for children and youth in foster care—helping them feel seen, supported, and safe 💙🤝

On May 7th at the Capitol, Yolo CASA joined many CASA programs from across California in support of SCR 162, honoring CASA Appreciation Day 💙

Standing together at the Capitol 🏛️ surrounded by leaders and changemakers from across the state was a powerful reminder of the impact this work has for youth in foster care‼️✨

It reaffirmed the importance of consistency, presence, and ensuring every child is seen, heard, and supported 🤍

Moments like this deeply validate our mission and the lasting difference CASA volunteers make in the lives of children in care 💫
