The parking lot at Knights Landing Community Park will undergo repairs beginning tomorrow and will not be able to be driven on until Monday. Starting tomorrow, the parking lot will be closed to the public and will reopen Monday. Thank you for your patience.

Please be aware that two Harmful Algal Blooms have been observed at Camp Haswell and Cache Creek Regional Park Lower Site, near the bridge. During this time of year HABs can occur so it is always a good idea to check the report map before heading out to a body of water.

Current advisory: stay away from algae and scum in the water. Do NOT let pets go in the water, drink the water, or eat scum on the shore. Keep children away from algae. Do not eat shellfish from this waterbody.

Parks has been made aware of a geocache site at Grasslands Regional Park in the trail field. We kindly ask for participating treasure hunters to park in the Dog Park Parking Lot and access the site through the public gates and trails instead of jumping the fence. Thank you for your cooperation.

🚤 Elkhorn Boat Launch will have the mud cleaned out starting Tuesday 5/13. The launch will remain open but there will be a back hoe and skid steer in operation.

🐶 attention Grassland Dog Park users - parks crew will be out tomorrow at the open side of the dog park to mow. The dog park will remain open.

Dog leash requirement signs at Grasslands Regional Park’s Trail Field continue to be ignored and even destroyed. It is paramount that the leash laws are followed since we have grazing animals on site which are important for the management of our sensitive Grasslands ecosystem. Voice control is not acceptable. Please help the Parks Division continue to keep this park open for all by respecting the laws. Please call GSD at 530 666 8888 with any concerns.
