Cuts to Public Housing, Section 8, and programs like CDBG and HOME will make it harder for people to stay housed—especially as costs continue to rise.

Yolo County Housing is proud to partner with Sacramento Area Council of Governments, Yolo County Office of Education, Yolobus (YoloTD), and the City of Woodland on the Tupelo Housing Project.

Together, we secured $28 million through the Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities program to support affordable housing and transportation solutions in Woodland.

New Hope Community Development Corporation has launched the Yolo County Housing 75th Anniversary Scholarship Endowment Fund, a permanent fund that will support:
* Post-secondary education
* Vocational training
* Residents and participants of Yolo County Housing and New Hope CDC
* Awards based on financial need
By contributing to this endowment, partners and community members help create an ongoing source of scholarship support for Yolo County residents pursuing education and training.

We were excited to participate in the opening of Freeman Garden Court, Woodland’s newest tiny home community.

The site includes 12 duplexed tiny homes and a shared Common Building. Yolo County Housing is proud to support this effort by providing 12 project-based vouchers to help residents access stable, affordable housing.

With support from Sutter Health, and in partnership with Brinshore Development, LLC and Operative Office, Yolo County Housing is helping bring the Tupelo Affordable Housing Development and the new Woodland Service Hub to life.
