Our 8th grade students had an unforgettable day exploring our nation’s capital! Despite the summer heat, our students stayed engaged and made memories as they visited important landmarks, including Arlington National Cemetery.

Students had the opportunity to reflect on the history, honor, and sacrifices represented throughout the grounds. It was a meaningful experience that brought learning beyond the classroom and allowed our students to connect with the past in a powerful way.

A big thank you to our staff and chaperones for making this trip possible. Great job, Spartans!

Our 7th grade students had an amazing day exploring the wonders of the wetlands at the The Wetlands Institute! Through hands-on activities, students discovered the importance of protecting coastal ecosystems and the wildlife that call them home.

From exploring marine life to learning about environmental conservation, our students gained valuable knowledge while creating lasting memories with their classmates.

A big thank you to the staff at the institute for providing such an engaging and educational experience. Learning comes to life when students can explore the world around them!

At the recent athletic awards ceremony at Collingswood High School, students were recognized for their outstanding athletic achievements, dedication, and sportsmanship throughout the year.

We are incredibly proud of our Woodlynne students for their hard work, perseverance, and commitment both on and off the field. Your accomplishments are a reflection of the effort you put in every day, and we look forward to seeing all you continue to achieve.

Congratulations to all of our student-athletes on this well-deserved recognition!

June is Pride Month—a time to celebrate, honor, and uplift the LGBTQIA+ community. It’s also a chance to recommit ourselves to creating a school culture where everyone feels seen, supported, and safe.

Here’s how we can stand together:

Educate with intention – Learn about the LGBTQIA+ experience, inclusive language, and the history behind Pride.
Promote acceptance – Use inclusive practices, display affirming materials, and create safe, welcoming spaces.
Respect privacy – Always honor confidentiality when it comes to identity and expression.
Show up with support – Be a listening ear and a helpful resource. Sometimes, just being there makes all the difference.
Share resources – Make sure students know where to find help, including support groups and advocacy organizations.
Helpful LGBTQIA+ resources:

*The Trevor Project
*GLSEN
*Human Rights Campaign
*It Gets Better Project

And remember, Care Solace is always available—24/7/365—to help LGBTQIA+ students and families connect with trusted mental health and substance use providers. Visit caresolace.com/woodlynne or call 888-515-0595 for free, confidential support.

Let’s continue building a community of compassion, courage, and inclusivity—this month and beyond.

Happy Pride!
