💪❤️ Strength Day kickoff at FECC!

Franklin Early Childhood Center kicked off its first Strength Day last Friday in celebration of this year’s schoolwide theme: Strength!

Throughout the year, students will explore the many ways we show strength through kindness, courage, perseverance, friendship, and helping others. Thanks to the generosity of the FECC PTA, every student received a special Strength T-shirt to wear on monthly Strength Days, bringing the school community together to celebrate what makes each of us strong.

💗 BULLDOGS UNITED IN THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCER! 💗

Yesterday, October 18, our Bulldog community came together to support the fight against cancer! 🐾

For 15 years, Coach Kreiss and the Girls Varsity Soccer team have proudly raised funds for the American Cancer Society through their annual shirt fundraiser and participation in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk at Jones Beach.

What began with one team has grown into a true community effort, with Coach Corben and the Boys Varsity Soccer team, Coach Evans and Varsity Cheer, and Coach Palladino and the Varsity Football team joining the cause.

Together, our Bulldogs are raising awareness, supporting an important cause, and showing the power of community!

❤🐾 A REUNION WORTH CELEBRATING! 🎙️

Yesterday, our NPR Student Podcast Challenge finalists reunited with their teacher and podcast sponsor, Ms. Jaime Harrington, greeting her with big smiles, lots of excitement, and plenty of affection before gathering for a special group photo! 📸❤️

From being named one of just 10 middle school finalists nationwide to winning NPR’s America 250 Prize and earning additional honorable mentions, these students have given us so much to celebrate!

Congratulations again to these talented students and Ms. Harrington on an incredible achievement! Your hard work, creativity, and voices have made Hewlett-Woodmere proud! 💙🐾

Smiles, laughter, and plenty of fall fun made last night’s FestiFALL a wonderful success! ❤️

This special evening marked the first collaborative community event organized by the HES, OES, and FECC PTAs, along with SEPTA, bringing families together for a memorable night of connection and Bulldog community spirit.

We’re so grateful for our wonderful PTAs and everyone who helped make this event possible. Thank you for bringing our community together and making the evening so special! ❤️🍂
