Say hello to Mariah Kauther, a Learning Behavior Specialist at John L Sipley Elementary School!
Her favorite subject in school was Math, and now she helps students build confidence and skills for success.

Mariah says the best part of Woodridge 68 is working with amazing students who brighten her day.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, sewing, and spending time outdoors. 📚✂️🌳
Mariah also first joined the district as a student teacher.

His favorite subject in school was Mathematics, and now he supports multilingual learners in building strong academic foundations.

Mario says the best part of Woodridge 68 is the positive environment between teachers, parents, and students.

Outside of school, he enjoys playing soccer with his kids. ⚽👨‍👦

🎨🏆 Congratulations to our talented young artists from Woodridge 68!

This weekend, students from our south side schools—Murphy, Edgewood, and Sipley—participated in the annual Darien Women’s Club Art Fair, and we’re thrilled to celebrate two Best in Show (Division Winner) honorees:
✨ Alice Fukushiro (Murphy) – 1st & 2nd Grade Division
✨ Alaska Tkachev (Sipley) – 3rd & 4th Grade Division

We are so proud of these students and all who represented our schools with their creativity and hard work. Way to go, artists! 💙🖌️

Introducing Christina Melonides, an Early Childhood Preschool Teacher at John L Sipley Elementary School!
Her favorite subject in school was Language Arts, and today she nurtures our youngest learners.

Christina says the best part of Woodridge 68 is that the staff hold high expectations for all students and support one another.

In her free time, she enjoys trying new recipes with her two daughters. 👩‍🍳👧👧
She also has a connection to the district through a family member who worked in Woodridge 68.
