The Center offers many activities for active seniors such as a senior fitness class and a low-impact line dancing class. SCOA meets three days per week at Woodruff Leisure Center and offers lunch and entertainment for qualifying senior citizens. Throughout the week the center’s classroom spaces and gymnasium are utilized for an assortment of classes such as Zumba, yoga, piano, interpretative dance
class, pickleball, line dancing, Rotary Club and more. Also, if you are looking for a space to hold an event, contact the center and ask about pricing. The Center is adjacent to other recreational amenities, including newly opened Woodruff disc golf course, cricket field, soccer fields, outdoor fitness equipment, and dog friendly .82-mile walking trail. The Woodruff Leisure Center is also an ACE (After Class Enrichment) site during the school year for children ages 5-12. We also host summer day camp from the time school is out until it starts again in the fall. Some activities include games, arts and crafts, guest speakers and field trips for participants ages 5-12.
