The American FFA Degree is the highest degree an FFA member can earn, and reaching this level takes YEARS of hard work, dedication, leadership, and commitment.

We are proud to announce that Woodsfield Elementary has been officially recognized as a “Bright Spot” and a Top School for Literacy Achievement by The 74! This distinction honors Woodsfield Elementary for "Beating the Odds in Literacy." We are incredibly proud of our students' growth and success.

Review & Sign: Review your student's data for accuracy and complete the required agreement forms for the 2026–2027 school year.

🎉 BIG NEWS FOR STUDENTS & FAMILIES! 🎉
We are thrilled to announce that Switzerland of Ohio Local Schools has officially been awarded a $320,000 CTE Access Grant from the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce!

This funding will allow us to establish a brand-new Mechatronics program at both Monroe Central High School and River High School starting in the 2027–2028 school year!

What does this mean for our students?
🔹 Hands-on experience in high-demand fields like robotics, automation, PLCs, and industrial maintenance.
🔹 100% FREE participation, we are fully covering all equipment, tools, personal protective gear, and credential testing fees.
🔹 College credit opportunities through our partnership with The University of Akron, allowing students to earn up to 30 college credit hours toward an associate degree!
🔹 Paid work-based learning and career mentorship through our lead industry partner, the Appalachian Ohio Manufacturers' Coalition (AOMC). By bringing this technology directly to our local high schools, we are breaking down geographic barriers and opening doors to high-wage, local careers right here in the Ohio Valley!
