Woodstock Police Department News Release – Incident Report

INCIDENT LOCATION: U.S. Route 4 in Village of Woodstock, Vermont

VIOLATION: DUI

ACCUSED: Alberto P. Hernandez
AGE: 37
CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Woodstock, Vermont

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On the above date and time, the Woodstock Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a 2013 Toyota Highlander on U.S. Route 4 in the Village of Woodstock, Windsor County, Vermont, for multiple motor vehicle violations.

The investigation determined that the operator, 37-year-old Alberto P. Hernandez, exhibited signs of impairment and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. Hernandez was arrested and transported to the Hartford Police Department for processing.

Hernandez was later released with a criminal citation and is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Criminal Division, on August 18, 2026, at 0800 hours to answer the above charge.

INCIDENT LOCATION: U.S. Route 4 and Cumberland Farms in Village of Woodstock, Vermont

VIOLATION: DUI #2 Refusal

ACCUSED: Colin D. Pilling
AGE: 21
CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Raymond, NH

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On the above date and time, the Woodstock Police Department conducted a traffic stop of a 2007 Honda Accord on U.S. Route 4 in the Village of Woodstock, Windsor County, Vermont, for a motor vehicle violation.

The investigation determined that the operator, 21-year-old Colin D. Pilling, exhibited signs of impairment and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. Pilling was arrested and transported to the Woodstock Police Department for processing.

Pilling was later released with a criminal citation and is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Criminal Division, on August 25, 2026, at 0800 hours to answer the above charge.

Thank You, Woodstock!

Thank you to everyone who came out and joined us for our Ice Cream Social! It was a great success, with more than 40 community members stopping by to enjoy some ice cream, meet our officers, and spend time together.

We truly appreciate everyone who took the time to come out and support the Woodstock Police Department. Events like this are a great opportunity for us to connect with the community we are proud to serve.

Summary:

On this date and time, the Woodstock Police Department responded to a residence on West Woodstock Road in the Town of Woodstock, Windsor County, Vermont, to assist Green Mountain Power.

Upon arrival, officers met with Suzanne Krawczyk, 64, and James Krawczyk, 64. An investigation determined that Suzanne had an active in-state warrant for failure to appear in court related to a previous incident, and James had an active in-state warrant for impeding and resisting arrest.

Both individuals were arrested and transported to Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Criminal Division, in White River Junction. They were remanded to Southern State Correctional Facility without bail.
