Easter Sunday✝️
The most important day on the calendar. Not because of the egg hunts or fluffy bunnies. Not because of the ham on the table. Not even because of the family around it.
Because of what happened two thousand years ago that changed everything!
A man who was crucified, buried, and sealed behind a stone, walked out of that tomb on the third day.
Death lost. Darkness lost. The grave empty.
And a world full of broken humans were handed something it didn’t deserve and couldn’t earn.
Grace.
We talk a lot in this space about hard work. Standards. Accountability. Showing up when it’s hard.
That’s all real.
But if Easter means anything, it means the story doesn’t end with how hard you worked.
It ends with how much you loved and were loved. Not because you were perfect or had it all figured out. Because a God who could have written you off decided you were worth bleeding for instead.
You don’t have to earn your way into being enough. The tomb is empty. That changes everything.
When you know you’re operating from grace instead of guilt, you work differently. You lead differently. You love your neighbor, your family, your creator differently.
You’re not grinding to prove something. You’re building because you were made to build.
That’s what the resurrection demands of you. Not perfection. Not performance. A man who got back up.
He got back up on the third day.
Whatever you’ve been carrying. Whatever you told yourself was too far gone. It’s not.
Go be with your family today. Put the phone down. Eat the meal. Hold your loved ones close.
He is risen.
