Woodstock Community Television (WCTV8) is a not-for-profit organization that enables, supports, and promotes the production and distribution of local programs by and for educational, charitable, social service, religious, governmental, electoral and other non-profit organizations. We record and broadcast local government and school board meetings as well as a variety of non-profit and local events

in Woodstock, Hartland, and Bridgewater, Vermont on Comcast channel 8, and in central Vermont on Vermont Television Company channels 8 and VTel 178. We also share selected programming via our internet website, https://www.woodstockcommunitytv.org/

WCTV8 helps to safeguard and promote democracy. By airing local government and school board meetings, we hope to keep our constituents well-informed and engaged in spirited and broad-based debate on issues. We are committed to promoting the atmosphere of openness that is vital to sustaining just and credible governing bodies. Our resources are available to locals who want to express their views and opinions on topics of interest. Make an appointment to stop by our studio at 62 Pleasant Street in Woodstock.
