The Respect State Housing Laws Act repeals the CARES Act's federal 30-day eviction notice requirement for certain federally covered rental properties. Under the bill, eviction notice requirements would be governed by state law rather than federal law.

Mr. Charlie Duncan, the oldest World War II veteran in Georgia and a Cobb County native, has passed away at the age of 107. Charlie was an inspiration to so many in the 11th Congressional District, and we are incredibly grateful to him for his service to the United States at a critical time in our nation’s history.
