The Woodstock Touch-A-Truck is almost here!

Join us on Sunday, July 19th 10 - 2 for one of our favorite community events! Bring the whole family for a fun-filled day where kids (and adults!) can get up close with fire trucks, police vehicles, construction equipment, ambulances, and so much more.

The Town of Woodstock Touch-A-Truck event is coming to Roseland Park on Sunday, July 19 from 10AM–2PM!

Bring the family out for a fun-filled day where kids (and adults!) can explore fire trucks, ambulances, heavy equipment, tractors, cranes, and so much more up close. Meet your local first responders and operators, learn about the equipment they use every day, and enjoy a hands-on community event for all ages.

🍔 FREE food available while supplies last!

Woodstock Creamery at Valleyside Farm has graciously donated the hamburgers for this event. We greatly appreciate their dedication to the community and supporting events like the Woodstock Touch a Truck. Please check out their farm store for any meat, milk, or other great items.

Today we celebrate the birth of our nation and the freedoms we enjoy. We hope everyone has a fun, safe, and memorable Independence Day with family and friends.

As you celebrate, please keep safety in mind:

-Leave fireworks to the professionals whenever possible.
-Never leave grills, fire pits, or campfires unattended.
-Never drink and drive—plan for a safe ride home. -Stay hydrated and take breaks if you're spending time outdoors in the heat.

If you have an emergency, don't hesitate to call 911.

A special thank you to all of our firefighters, EMS personnel, dispatchers, law enforcement officers, and other first responders who are spending part of their holiday serving our community.

Heat Safety Reminder

With temperatures expected to remain dangerously hot, Bungay Fire Brigade encourages everyone to take a few simple precautions to stay safe during the heat.

☀️ Heat Safety Tips: • Drink plenty of water, even if you don't feel thirsty. • Stay indoors in air-conditioned buildings whenever possible. • Limit strenuous outdoor activities, especially during the hottest part of the day (10 AM–4 PM). • Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing and use sunscreen when outdoors. • Never leave children or pets unattended in a vehicle, even for a few minutes. • Check on elderly family members, neighbors, and anyone who may be more vulnerable to heat-related illness. • Make sure pets have plenty of fresh water and access to shade.

⚠️ Know the signs of heat-related illness: Heavy sweating, dizziness, nausea, headache, muscle cramps, confusion, or fainting can all be signs of heat exhaustion or heat stroke. If someone shows signs of heat stroke, call 911 immediately and begin cooling them while waiting for emergency responders.

Let's all do our part to stay safe and look out for one another during this period of extreme heat.

🎓 Congratulations to the Woodstock Academy Class of 2026! 🎓

The members of Bungay Fire Brigade would like to congratulate all of this year's graduates on reaching this important milestone. Your hard work, dedication, and perseverance have paid off, and we wish each of you success as you begin the next chapter of your lives.

We would also like to give a special shout-out to two of our own members, Gabriella Payne and Donovan Manis. We are proud of your accomplishments both in the classroom and as members of our organization. Your commitment to serving the community while balancing your academic responsibilities is commendable.

Congratulations, Gabriella and Donovan, and best wishes to the entire Class of 2026. We look forward to seeing all that you accomplish in the future!

Bungay Fire Brigade would like to recognize a young member of our community who demonstrated courage and quick thinking during an emergency.

Eight-year-old Jeffrey Estabrook witnessed a person in need of help and immediately took action to get assistance. In a difficult and stressful situation, Jeffrey remained calm and did the right thing, helping to ensure that help arrived as quickly as possible.

We are incredibly proud of Jeffrey's actions and would like to recognize his bravery, maturity, and willingness to help others.

His quick response serves as a reminder that anyone, regardless of age, can make a difference when it matters most.

Great job, Jeffrey! Your community is proud of you.
