Etowah High School would like to welcome Clint Parker as the next Head Boys Golf Coach for the Etowah Eagles Golf program.

Coach Parker joins the Etowah community after serving as Head Golf Coach at Union Grove High School from 2014 – 2021. During his time at Union Grove, he helped the Girls and Boys golf teams qualify for state in some capacity every year. His highest finish was his Girls Golf team finishing 4th.

As a 2009 graduate of Union Grove, he was a golfer and then walked on the Reinhardt Golf Team earning a scholarship after qualifying for 8 of 10 tournaments. After a strong showing as a walk on he earned a scholarship for the last 2 years as a player.

Coach Parker said when asked about why he would be a good fit for the Etowah Golf Coach he responded “I have always known that Etowah was a strong golfing school. Even from my playing days in high school, I know that the Etowah name comes with a reputation of having great golfers. I just hope I can help continue what I know to be a GREAT program.”

Coach Parker works at Sixes Elementary as a 4th grade Math, Science, and Social Studies teacher where his wife Danielle Parker is a Kindergarten teacher. Clint and Danielle have three children Hayden, Peyton, and Bennett.

Coach Parker is excited to get started and is ready to help represent the Etowah Community with Great Pride.

Please join us in welcoming Coach Parker and his family to the Etowah community.

Congrats to Cindy Vaughn, our September Staff Member of the Month! Cindy was voted on by her peers, which makes this recognition even more special.

Cindy is truly our “doer of all things” at Etowah. Whether it's organizing major school events, supporting students, or stepping up wherever she's needed, she consistently goes above and beyond. She plays a critical role as our Graduation/Success Coach and SGA sponsor, helping our students succeed while building the school spirit and traditions that make Etowah special.

Her hard work, dedication, and willingness to jump in and get things done do not go unnoticed. We are fortunate to have Cindy as part of our Eagle family!

Congratulations, Cindy, and thank you for everything you do for Etowah!
