"I had to take care of my family,” she said. “I was also taking care of my sick mother and trying to find something that gave me more time to be with them. Before, I didn’t take the time to dedicate myself or say the right things for the right jobs.”

After completing the Work Ready program, she was offered an even higher-paying job than she had interviewed for.

Every success story begins with believing that a better future is possible.

As a single mom, Haley wasn't sure a healthcare career was within reach. With the right support, resources, and a plan, she was able to finish school and pursue a job as a Medical Assistant.

Her journey is a reminder that opportunities can open when you have the guidance and support to take the next step.

Feeling like another number in today's job market can be discouraging – Work Ready Oklahoma helps you stand out.

Desiree worked 20 years in accounting and travelled over 60 miles every day to work. In the search for something new with a better work-life balance, she connected with Work Ready Oklahoma.

“I never in a million years would have seen myself doing what I'm doing now. Being outside of your comfort zone doesn't mean you're setting yourself up for failure. It just means you're doing something you haven't done before.”

Haley used to work two full-time jobs and barely scraped by with her three children. Now she’s building skills and paying the bills!

After completing the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program with the support of Work Ready Oklahoma, Haley works one steady job and has more time with her family.

“She wanted to go places, but she didn't know how to get there or if she could. Now, she has a lot going for her. She's excited for her future."
