The Town of Woolwich Maine Fire Department operates out of 2 stations, one central station in town and a sub-station in the northern end of town. Woolwich Fire Rescue is led by Fire Chief Shaun Merrill, a town hired position. We are committed to protecting the people, property, and environment of our town. We remain responsive to the needs of our citizens and visitors by providing rapid, professio
nal services, with dignity, essential to health, safety and well-being. We accomplish this mission through prevention, education, fire suppression, rescue, and hazardous materials response.
