Lucy is a scared six-year-old girl who needs your help. Lucy had to be removed from her home due to abuse and neglect and has since lived in six different homes. Any time Lucy began to feel a sense of stability and belonging, she was uprooted again.

You can help Lucy receive the critical care and connection that she desperately needs as she transitions into the school year.

Every summer the children in each cottage join forces for a chance to win the CCH-Olympics first-place trophy. The CCH-Olympics are held throughout the summer with a variety of fun activities, artistic expression and team building! This is one of the kid's favorite things during the summer, and they look forward to different activities each week! Although all four cottages did an amazing job, there was a team that went above and beyond and earned the gold! Every summer one of the kid's favorite outings is Roosevelt Glamping cabin day! This beautiful property is owned by a CCHO staff member and is perfect for the kids to go fishing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, hiking and crafting!

This annual tradition allows our kids and staff to spend the day together and simply playโ€“a trauma-effective tool for connecting and building trust with youth from hard places. The kids also get try new experiences and practice new skills. Itโ€™s a day for growing confidence and making memories.
