From August of 2006 through May of 2024 the Tri-County International Academy (TCIA) IB program strove to provide an education that enabled students to make sense of the complexities of the world around them, as well as equip them with the skills & dispositions needed for taking responsible action for the future. In addition to their six academic classes that required rigorous assessments, TCIA students learned to reflect on the nature of knowledge, conduct independent research, and engage in service projects. TCIA is proud of the accomplishments of its scholars and honored to have welcomed students from the following high schools into the IB family: Ashland, Chippewa, Dalton, Hiland, Hillsdale, Loudonville, Mapleton, Norwayne, Northwestern, Orrville, Rittman, Smithville, Triway, Waynedale, West Holmes, and Wooster. TCIA would not have been the program it was without the hard work & dedication of its teaching staff. MANY THANKS to the students and staff who made the TCIA a place to call home for so many people in Ashland, Holmes, and Wayne counties.
