Rep. Jarrells spent time with our OhioRISE team learning more about the case management services we provide to children and families. The conversation focused on how we collectively can continue to improve OhioRISE, strengthening care coordination and ensuring families get the support they need.

You can work full time and be a foster parent. Every family’s situation is different, but a full-time job doesn’t automatically close the door to fostering.

You don’t have to have a perfect schedule to explore the possibility of opening your home to a child who needs support.

Thank you to State Representative Ty Moore for visiting The Village Network’s Bethesda facility!

Rep. Moore toured our facility and met with President Rich Graziano, Regional Director Dave Doty, and members of our leadership team to learn more about the services we provide and the care we deliver to children and families across Southeastern Ohio.

Dr. Mamie Phipps Clark was a psychologist who dedicated her life to understanding how children are affected by the world around them.

Her research showed how racism and segregation affected the way children saw themselves. Her work highlighted the importance of creating environments where every child feels valued, supported, and included.

In 1946, Dr. Clark and her husband, Dr. Kenneth Clark, founded the Northside Center for Child Development, providing mental health services to children and families who had limited access to care.

Her groundbreaking work helped shape the fight against school segregation and left a lasting impact on psychology, child development, and civil rights.

At The Village Network, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and valued. Dr. Clark’s legacy reminds us how important it is to listen to children, understand their experiences, and create spaces where they can thrive.
