REMINDER - All City of Wooster Park Playgrounds are currently CLOSED in accordance with the State of Ohio Stay-At-Home orders.
On Sunday, March 22, 2020, Governor Mike DeWine ordered public playgrounds to close to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus and this is still in effect. The City of Wooster has placed CLOSED signs at each of our playgrounds and as soon as the closure is uplifted we will be performing a thorough cleaning and disinfection to all playground equipment in our parks before reopening them.
Don't worry! We will make a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT when we are able to open back up again and safely put the PLAY back into PLAYGROUND! ππ
In addition to our playgrounds, all park restrooms, all sport courts, the Skate Park @ Schellin and Kiddie City @ Knights are closed. Signage indicating these closures has been posted and facilities will be taped off or locked, where possible.
City of Wooster parks remain open for walking and hiking, but if you choose to visit them we ask that you please continue to practice social distancing as outlined by the Wayne County Health Department, the Ohio Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Stay safe and stay healthy, Wooster.
