Fundraiser at The School Yahd in West Boylston to benefit Marie's Mission Diaper Outreach Program! Basket raffles! Kids costume contest!

Advanced ticket purchase HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. A limited amount of tickets will be sold at the door.

Come join us for a fun afternoon of games- life size Jenga/Connect Four/checkers! Pickleball! Co****le! Darts! Maybe a pick up kickball game on the field! All ages welcome! Come dressed to PLAY!!!

Today we said see you later (not goodbye) to one of our young volunteers. Thomas has been with us since the very beginning. The first picture shows he and his brother donating the first ever boxes of diapers at our kickoff party in February 2015.

From that starting point he became a volunteer then the developer and coordinator of the literacy program to a member of the board of directors.

We wish Thomas all the best as he heads off to Roger Williams University next week. We are all so proud of the young man you have grown into.

Marie’s Mission

Marie’s Mission was established in 2015 in loving memory of Marie Louise Galvin, infant daughter of Sarah and Patrick Galvin. Marie’s Mission is committed to serving the families of young children in the Worcester area. Diapers are not covered by federal and state assistance programs such as WIC or food stamps so Marie’s Mission is a way for struggling families to get this needed resource. Marie’s Missions helps to prevent both health and psychosocial consequences that can result from children not having sufficient diapers.

With the help of our board of directors and dedicated volunteers Marie’s Mission is able to provide not only diapers but also a place for community, fellowship and education. Since its inception Marie’s Mission has continued to grow and serve more of the community and has partnered with various other to assist in our mission. Our current partners include UMASS Medical School, Holy Cross College, MCPHS Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene, Acentria Healthcare, Fallon Health, the Worcester School Committee and Daughter of the American Revolution (DAR).
