The Coalition for Educated Options (CEO) was founded in 2009 with the aim of registering new voters and developing a community initiated questionnaire for city council and school committee candidates. The group has greatly expanded its activities and was involved in organizing direct voter outreach campaigns, media programs, Election Day transportation, ethnic association election facilitation, an
d issue advocacy. CEO works with community organizations, resident groups, and civic associations to raise awareness about municipal elections, increase turnout in historically underrepresented areas, advocate for practices and policies that increase greater voter accessibility, and promote greater inclusivity in the civic process.
