Newsletter Club: Create, Collaborate & Publish gives individuals, ages 18+, the chance to work as a team to produce a real newsletter from start to finish.

Attendees generate story ideas, write and edit content, design layouts, and learn how newsletters are shared with an audience. Along the way, contributors build communication skills, creativity, confidence, and teamwork, all while seeing their work come to life.

It is a collaborative, creative experience that empowers members to share their voice and take pride in a finished product that is truly their own.

This summer, the Assistive Technology Regional Centers were fortunate to welcome two outstanding interns, Stephen and Samer. Through their firsthand experience and enthusiasm, they helped showcase assistive technology solutions, particularly devices designed for individuals who are blind or have low vision. Their contributions enhanced technology demonstrations, supported visitors exploring assistive technology options, and highlighted the many ways these tools can make everyday tasks more accessible and independent.

Our interns, as well as ESMA staff, recently attended the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind Summer Internship Program closing ceremony at the Massachusetts State House, celebrating the achievements of the 2026 summer interns and the employer partners who supported their success.

Congratulations to Alysha, Physical Therapist, for reaching the milestone of 15 dedicated years of service at Easterseals Massachusetts! Alysha, when asked, “What keeps you motivated, year after year, in your job?” shared, "What keeps me motivated year after year is knowing that the work I do truly makes a difference. I’ve had the privilege of working with clients in their homes and supporting them and their families over many years. Having the opportunity to help individuals access the equipment they need, make progress toward greater independence, and watch them grow in their daily lives is incredibly rewarding.

But most of all, it’s my clients who motivate me. Seeing them show up, show off, and give their best in every session we have reminds me why I love what I do. I’m proud to be part of a team and an organization that makes such a meaningful impact in the lives of the individuals and families we serve." We are grateful for your commitment, Alysha!
