Get moving this summer with Worcester’s FREE Summer Fitness Series! From HIIT and Yoga to Zumba, Pilates, Basketball Skills & Drills, and more, there’s a class for everyone!

Programs run June 15 – August 29 at parks across the city, helping bring our communities together through health, wellness, and fun activity classes.

Special shoutout for our neighborhood Peace Park where DanceFit4U will run every Saturday from 10am–11am! We’re excited for people to be dancing in the park all Summer long!

It’s been a busy and exciting start to 2026 at Worcester Common Ground! From our Trinity Youth Basketball League with Trinity Lutheran Church Worcester MA and Worcester Railers HC outing to our Earth Day neighborhood clean-up with Pleasant Street Neighborhood Network Center and community garden prep with YouthBuild Global, Training Resources of America, Inc., and the Central Community Branch YMCA, we’ve loved bringing people together through fun, connection, and community.

A huge thank you to our volunteers, partners, and residents who continue to make this work possible. We’re excited for all that’s still to come this year, stay tuned for more events, opportunities, and ways to get involved!

We recently hosted two info sessions about applying for WCG rental units and were excited to welcome more than 30 community members. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

As a reminder, applications will be available from May 4–7th and May 11–14th

All applications will be entered into a lottery to determine waitlist placement.

Check out the amazing progress at 116 Piedmont Street! Originally a vacant lot for many years, this property has come a LONG way.

We are building three first time homeownership condo units, with the first floor being completely accessible. These units are expected to be completed by this summer. Swipe for more information on the project and how to apply for these condo units!

Join us for public info sessions to learn about WCG’s rental availability and how to apply. The sessions will take place on April 14th from 5:30 - 6:30pm and on April 25th from 11:00am - 12pm. These sessions will cover the application process, eligibility, and screening steps to enter the housing lottery. Both sessions will be held in the King Community Center at 126 Chandler Street, Worcester, MA.

All completed applications will be entered into a closed lottery and lottery results will determine each applicant’s placement on the waitlist. Placement on the waitlist does not guarantee housing. Applications will be distributed May 4th-7th, and May 11th-13th, 2026. In order to receive an application contact our property manager, Darleen Gomez at 508-754-0908 x23 or [email protected]
