The Central Massachusetts Metropolitan Planning Organization (CMMPO) has released its Draft FY26 Public Participation Plan (PPP) for public review. The PPP guides how the CMMPO engages residents, stakeholders, and communities in transportation planning and decision-making across the region.

Each year, The Research Bureau celebrates unsung heroes of public service through its Thomas S. Green Public Service Awards. CMRPC’s Manager of Housing Programs, Emily Glaubitz, was recognized as one of five 2026 awardees who have made outstanding contributions to public service through their careers and personal lives.

On Thursday, June 11, the award winners were honored at the DCU Center among family, friends, and colleagues. Upon receiving the award, Emily praised her CMRPC colleagues, saying, “At CMRPC, I am really lucky to work with the most thoughtful, hard-working, dedicated group of professionals who make it a positive experience to show up every day. My success is just a reflection of the incredible team I get to work with.”

Worcester Mayor Joe Petty presented Emily with the Key to the City at the City Council meeting on June 16 in honor of this achievement. Congratulations, Emily!
