The Alliance for Retired Americans issued this statement in response to the Social Security Trustees report this week, which concludes that Social Security will not be able to pay out full benefits by 2032 if Congress does not take action. Congress can and must take action to prevent this easily solvable crisis-- by making the wealthy pay their fair share into Social Security!

Good news for seniors! The Supreme Court has ruled that the federal government can continue negotiating down the costs of prescription drugs for seniors! This was a hard-won victory, achieved by advocates, the Democratic Congress, and President Biden that continues to stand. And all seniors will continue to benefit from it!
