First school board meeting is in the books!

Before this evening’s meeting, all school board members went on a tour of the new Community Education Center. From toddlers to retirees, the Community Education Center is going to be a wonderful place to learn, play, and grow! Its tentative open date for programming is Monday, February 13.

Incumbent Mike Harberts chose not to run for reelection this year, so the three will join Brad Shaffer, Tom Prins, Steve Schnieder and Joel Lorenz as board members.

WE DID IT!! The votes are in! I am honored to receive the trust from our community to become a member of our Worthington Public Schools school board. I am extremely grateful for all of the many, many supporters who encouraged me with energy and optimism throughout the campaign. Now I am ready to get to work as a school board member!
