Leadership Worthington empowers community members with the skills, resources and opportunities to take active roles in initiatives that ensure a thriving Worthington for generations. Established in 1989, Leadership Worthington is the result of collaborative efforts by:

* Worthington Area Ch

Forethought on the part of dedicated citizens in the early 1990's helped to create and develop a leadership program for the Worthington area. Benefits for participants are designed to be:

* Increased leadership skills, advancing leadership goals within the community, workplace, schools, and in churches
* A greater knowledge of the Worthington area, its organizations and its current leaders, along with a network of colleagues to help benefit both the community and the individual

Benefits for the community are designed to be:

* An increasing group of committed community and workplace leaders. When individual leadership skills are developed, there is a pool that can be tapped for representatives among business, government, school and civic organizations.

Are you -- or someone you know -- looking to get more engaged with the Worthington community? This is a terrific opportunity to build leadership skills, learn about the people and organizations that are integral to the fabric of Worthington, and collaborate with those who also are interested in servant leadership.

Classes are one day a month from October through April. Candidates must live or work within the boundaries of Worthington Schools. More details are on the website.

As this organization focuses on developing servant leaders, we are intentional about inviting recent graduates of Leadership Worthington to provide input and direction by serving on the Steering Committee.

Please welcome the newest members of the Leadership Worthington Steering Committee:

*Chelsea Kayse (2026) -- Worthington Farmers Market
