Join the New Vision Co-op agronomy team for an evening in the field as we take a look at this year's plot trials and talk about what we're seeing in the crop. It's a great opportunity to see different products and practices in action, ask questions, and visit with fellow growers, our agronomy team, and industry representatives about what could make a difference on your operation. Get an up-close look at some of our equipment, have dinner, then stick around for raffle drawings!

Wednesday, August 26 from 5pm to 7pm.

Field is located next to our Brewster office:
38438 210th Street
Brewster, MN 56119

For questions, call your New Vision Co-op Agronomist or 507-842-2001. We’ll see you there!

After a busy tree season, we are back again with Pollinator Portraits!

July's species is the Goldenrod Soldier Beetle (Chauliognathus pennsylvanicus). Adult beetles will begin emerging in late July, so keep an eye out!🪲🐛

A reminder that Goldenrod Soldier Beetles are harmless to humans and very beneficial plants. If you spot them, let them be!🌼

Nobles SWCD Landowner Spotlight: Steve Neyens

Steve Neyens enrolled 23.3 acres into CRP in the Spring of 2025. Nobles SWCD along with DNR and Pheasants Forever designed a tree layout that would meet the requirements of the CRP contract and provide habitat for pollinators and other wildlife to utilize. In the spring of 2026, Nobles SWCD Staff, Pheasants Forever staff, and Steve planted over 5,100 shrubs and trees including species such as Sandbar Willow, Common Purple Lilac, Serviceberry, Black Elderberry, Black Chokeberry, Common Chokecherry, Arctic Willow, Nannyberry, Southern Arrowwood, American Plum, and Black Hills Spruce. There are 32 rows and over 15,600 linear feet of trees and shrubs covering the hillsides that will now help protect against erosion, reduce nutrient runoff and sediment deposition into the stream, and provide habitat for the local wildlife. These trees and shrubs will also help to sequester carbon from the atmosphere and reduce our carbon footprint on the landscape.

What a way to kick of the 2026 Tree planting Season!
