Last Friday we had an awesome time at the town monthly fire with our residents!

We allowed the kids (and big kids 😉) to use the hose and get a minor feel for what we do.
They had a great time and we did also.
We can’t wait to be back next month!

Hello Everyone!
We have been busy since meeting, a few calls, some training & meeting nights, prepping and planning lots of great things for the community - including an open house to come say hello to the department and see our trucks! We are just starting to plan, so be on the lookout for more news about that!

Our Brush Truck and a few firefighters will be at the Town Fire tonight at the pond as well. Stop by and check out the truck and say hello!

“Over 50 volunteer firefighters and first responders from 10 area departments including Savoy Fire Rescue, Cheshire Fire Department, Florida Volunteer Fire Dept, Dalton Fire Department, Peru, New Ashford Volunteer Fire Dept, Clarksburg Volunteer Fire Company, Windsor Volunteer Fire Department, Plainfield Volunteer Firefighters Association Inc., Cummington Emergency Services, Worthington Fire & Rescue, Town of Adams Forest Warden Department, and Adams Ambulance Service, Inc., met on a chilly Saturday morning recently to shuttle water from Maynard’s Pond — the only year-round accessible source of water for the town of Savoy — to a staging area seven miles away on Chapel Road.”

This is the second life flight in Worthington in three days. Please, please be safe all.
