Our April Member Newsletter is now available! This month includes an update from CEO/General Manager Adam Tromblay, along with important seasonal reminders and opportunities for our members.

April is a special time at Nobles Cooperative Electric. As we celebrate 90 years of service, we also recognize National Lineman Appreciation Day on April 13—a time to thank the dedicated lineworkers who keep the power flowing to our homes, farms, and businesses every day.

You’ll also find helpful spring reminders, from electrical safety during outdoor projects to preparing for unpredictable weather, along with a look at the growing benefits of electric lawn and yard tools—and the rebates available to help you make the switch.

🎧 Plus, don’t miss our April podcast featuring Tracey Haberman, sharing how you can save with energy rebates on everything from heating and cooling to appliances and water heaters.

Update! We’re sharing the original photo that inspired this week’s “Thank a Lineworker” coloring page featuring our linemen.

It’s been fun bringing these real-life moments to life each week—we can’t wait to see what we come up with next!

ORIGINAL POST:
Thank a Lineworker!

Our lineworkers are out there every day—rain, shine, wind, and snow—keeping the lights on and our communities powered.

This April, we’re celebrating Lineworker Appreciation Month, and we’d love your help! 💛

These coloring pages are inspired by real photos of our Nobles Cooperative Electric team members, and we’ll be sharing the original photo later this week—so stay tuned! 👀

We’ll also be rolling out a new coloring page each week throughout the month, so there will be plenty of chances to join in the fun.

Download or print this page, get creative, and return your masterpiece to us by April 30. We’ll be sharing artwork throughout the month to help brighten our lineworkers’ day! No age limits!

Nobles Cooperative Electric Announces 2026 Youth Tour Winners

We are proud to recognize this year’s outstanding students selected for our 2026 Youth Tour program! These students stood out for their leadership, academic achievements, and commitment to their communities.

Each year, electric cooperatives sponsor high school students for the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour—an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C. It’s an incredible opportunity to learn about the cooperative model, explore our nation’s capital, meet elected officials, and connect with peers from across the country.

After reviewing applications and conducting interviews with five impressive finalists, we are excited to announce:

Youth Tour Winner
Jael Lopez Garcia, Edgerton Public School
Parents: Luis & Vanessa Garcia

$500 Scholarship Recipient
Mikayla Reith, Murray County Central
Parents: Mike Reith & Danielle Sonstegard

$150 Award Recipient
Nevaeh Echternach, Fulda High School
Parents: Scott & Kimberly Echternach

“These students represented themselves, their schools, and their communities extremely well,” said Tracey Haberman, Member Services Manager. “We are proud to support young leaders and provide opportunities like the Youth Tour that broaden perspectives and encourage civic engagement.”

Thank you to all who applied this year—the future is bright! If you weren’t selected this time, we encourage you to apply again.
