I just wanted to take a minute and thank each and everyone who took the time to support me in my endeavour as a candidate for Yuma County Sheriff. Even though I was unable to gain the winning check mark, I will strive to be a professionally driven Godly leader in whatever position God chooses for me, and I wish Larry Gilliland the absolute best in his upcoming role as Yuma County Sheriff.

I would like to sincerely thank each and every Yuma County resident who will, or has voted in this upcoming election. Not only are you the reason voices are heard, balance is maintained and Government at all levels are held to task, but you’re the binding agent that keeps equality across the board in check. As of now, 742 of the 5,946 mailed ballots have been returned.

If you plan to vote this weekend, please do not mail your ballot after June 23 to ensure it arrives on time. Instead, you may:
• Use the ballot drop box on the northside of the Election Center or the southside of the NJC building (under the awning) in Yuma, available 24/7.
• Deliver your ballot to the Clerks Office, Monday–Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or on Election Day (June 30) from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• You may also drop it off at the Election Center beginning Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday June 27 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday June 29 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Election Day June 30 c
• You may also drop it off at the NJC Lobby June 29 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Election Day June 30th 7:00a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
