The Friends of the Fiske have funded the following:
1. 12 computers for the public to use free of charge
2. Copy/printer for the public to use at a nominal cost
3. Enhanced the wireless internet for patrons of the library
4. Two early learning computers were purchased for the Children’s library
5. Access free magazines on Zinio by using your SAILS card
6. Expanded overdrive selections of E-boo
ks and audio books
7. Rug cleaning and painting walls
9. Landscaping such as, lawn fertilization treatments and tree maintenance
10. Art classes, such as Zentangle, for children, teens, adults
11. Projector for the free family movie nights
12. Sweatt Beach Pass each summer
13. Puppets for children’s story time
14. Summer of 2015: subsidized the cost of 300+ tickets to Southwicks Zoo
15. Children’s parties such as the: Spiderwick Chronicles, Super Hero, and for the past 4 years the popular Harry Potter party.
16. Sponsor adult yoga classes
17. Fund the adult book club that meets monthly
18. Play mats, tunnels, and enrichment toys for both the weekly baby and toddler play groups that are held on Friday mornings
19. Shows and entertainment for families to enjoy
20. Lectures for adults
21. Purchased book shelves for the children’s library
22. Furnished the meeting room with new tables.
23. Provide office supplies such as copy paper for the librarians
24. Buy copies of required summer reading books as needed
