Have you heard the news? 🛡️

The Wright City Police Department has been designated as a Missouri Blue Shield Community — and we couldn't be more proud!

The Missouri Blue Shield Program, created by Governor Mike Kehoe, recognizes communities that demonstrate a steadfast commitment to public safety, support for law enforcement, and strong community-police partnerships. Earning this designation reflects the hard work of our officers and the support of every resident who helps make Wright City a safe place to live, work, and raise a family.

This week, decals will be proudly displayed at all city facilities — and that's just the start! 🏛️

Decals will also be made available for city businesses to display in their window fronts, so that residents, customers, and visitors know that Wright City values a strong community-police partnership.

I want to take a moment to address, head on and immediatly, a recent post that is creating confusion in our community.

To be clear: there is currently no proposed data center development in Wright City. There are no pending projects, agreements, or plans being withheld from the public.

What is happening is responsible leadership. As a City, we are taking a proactive approach to reviewing and strengthening our zoning regulations and ordinances related to potential future data center development. This ensures that if any proposal is ever brought forward, we are fully prepared to protect our community’s interests, infrastructure, and quality of life.

Transparency has always been a priority for Wright City, and it will continue to be. Suggestions that the City is being secretive or withholding information are simply not accurate.

We understand that topics like this can raise questions, and we welcome that. If residents have concerns or want to learn more, we encourage open, direct conversations. That is how we move forward together; through facts, collaboration, and mutual respect.

Creating concern around something that is not currently happening does not serve our community. Working together, staying informed, and engaging constructively does.

We remain committed to keeping our residents informed and involved every step of the way.

I'm truly honored that you've placed your trust in me to serve as your alderman. Your support means more than I can say. And I'm committed to working every day for our neighborhoods, our families and the future of Wright City.

I also want to thank my opponent for running a respectful campaign. Stepping forward to serve your community is never easy and I appreciate his willingness to be part of the process.

I'm ready to get to work with transparency, honesty and a steady focus on what matters most to the people of ward 2.

Last night at the workshop meeting, we discussed Data center ordinances and let me be clear , we have not been approached by a data center but if we ever are, we will have ordinances in place. So think of workshop meetings like a think tank, a collaboration of ideas that best serve the citizens of Wright City we discussed water, electric, sound mitigation, and location, (heavy industrial area) we talked about closed-loop systems, we also talked about the taxable income data centers Bring to the area and how that could reduce taxes for our citizens . There was talks about sidewalks. We also had a great conversation about the parks putting on a talent show . And we had an unexpected guest. He's looking to put in a small cafe. Called the Crispy Biscuit . If you feel this information has been beneficial,
