πŸŽ‰ Today, we're celebrating an incredible milestone: 30 years of service from Tony Wilson!

Tony joined the Town of Wrightsville Beach on the Tuesday after Labor Day in 1996. Just two days later, Hurricane Fran hit the area, leaving his neighborhood's roads (and many others) blocked by fallen trees. Determined to make it to work, Tony hitchhiked his way to Town Hall. A story that perfectly reflects the dedication he's shown ever since.

Thirty years later, Tony continues to play a vital role in guiding the Town's planning and inspection efforts, helping shape the future of Wrightsville Beach for residents, businesses, and visitors.

Please join us in congratulating Tony on 30 years of outstanding service to the Town of Wrightsville Beach! πŸ‘πŸŽ‰

It’s that time of year again, for millions of migratory birds to take to the sky and return to their wintering grounds. That means an influx of birds passing through our state, mostly at night, from now until November 30.

Helping birds like the Yellow-rumped Warbler, Dark-eyed Junco, and White-throated Sparrow is as simple as turning off unnecessary lights at night from 11pm to 6am.

Learn more and save a bird at the link in our bio.
