The Wurtsboro Board of Trade’s 2026 Community Mural project was focused this year in Canal Park. Local artists, Tobi Magnetico of the Making Box Studio, and Laurie Kilgore, of Kilgore Artistry held two community workshops at Chase School, engaged with local youth and promoted artistic expression and local pride. They taught students a stepwise approach for producing large scale murals.

These must see, stylistically related murals reflect the natural beauty of Wurtsboro. See them in person as you shoot a basketball or hit some pickleballs at the new Canal Park, located at the corner of Canal and Pine Streets in the heart of Wurtsboro.

This endeavor was sponsored by Sullivan 180 and the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance. Thank you for believing in the value of public art ❤️
