Thank you to all of the families who have completed the re-enrollment process. If you haven't done yours yet, you still have time!

As a reminder, this process is necessary to complete each year to make sure that demographic, health, medication, and emergency contact information is up-to-date. It also serves as a way to grant or deny yearly permissions such as social media/photo releases and in-district field trips. District documents with information about FERPA, concussion protocols, technology use, and the student code of conduct are also found during the steps of the re-enrollment process. The last step of the process gives you an opportunity to fill out the Education Benefits form. Completing this form helps our district to receive important federal and state grant funding to support ALL of our students.

The re-enrollment process needs to be completed prior to finding out your child's teacher assignment for the upcoming school year. Happy August, Mustangs! Both of these flyers have been sent out on ParentSquare, as well as posted in our Parent Facebook Group Page (Monroe Mustangs Parent Group). I am putting them up here, too, just in case you missed any of the posts!🥰 I will be sending out some additional information about re-enrollment on ParentSquare and by email this week, too. Re-enrollment is a little bit of a misleading title because it is actually something that needs to be done yearly for ALL students. This is where families update and verify all demographic information, emergency contacts, allergies, etc.) This needs to be completed for every student and MUST be completed before Packet Pickup. Directions for how and where to do this will be coming soon!

The first day of school is MONDAY, AUGUST 31st. It's been a few years since we started school before Labor Day, and this is the first time we have had our first day fall on a Monday, so I want to make sure everyone is aware of the start date! 🗓️‼️

Attention all families! 📢
If you, or anyone you know, has a student entering Youngs 5s or Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year, we would love to see you at our Round Up event! 🏫 The event takes place next week on Wednesday, April 22nd. 🗓 It will be an open house style event without any formal presentations. There will be a scavenger hunt where students and families can find all the important areas in the school, a photo op and goodie bag for incoming students, informational pamphlets, and time to meet our amazing staff. 👩‍🏫 We will have computers set up for anyone that would like to register for school while you are here. If you have any questions reach out to Mrs. Schenavar ([email protected]) or Mrs. Stroud ([email protected])! We can't wait to see all of our newest Mustangs! 🐎💖

NO SCHOOL MARCH 27th - APRIL 5th
As a reminder, we do not have school tomorrow (Friday, March 27th). Spring Break for the district begins tomorrow. We will return to school on Monday, April 6th. I hope everyone has a wonderful break. Enjoy time with loved ones, rest, relax, and take some time to prepare for the home stretch of the school year.
We will miss all of our Mustangs! 🐎 We look forward to welcoming everyone back in April! 🥰
