Some issues deserve more awareness than they receive. This is one of them.

May is Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons (MMIP) Awareness Month. We invite our community to stand together, honor victims, and support families still seeking answers.

🗓 May 8th | 11AM–2PM
📍 Miami Rotary Centennial Park

This walk is about awareness, respect, and making sure these stories are not forgotten.

We want to give a big shoutout to all of the Wyandotte employees who participated in Denim Day!! The simple act of wearing this t-shirt sends a message to survivors that we are here to help and support them.

As for the winner of our raffle, help us give a big congratulations to Tina Burwell! Tina even went the extra mile on Denim Day and wore her new child abuse awareness socks that were distributed a few weeks ago by the ICW staff.

We could not help victims in our community without the care and support we receive from Wyandotte Nation. Our program is truly blessed.

This week, we recognize National Crime Victims' Rights Week and the importance of supporting those impacted by crime. Survivors deserve to be heard, supported, and treated with respect. In Oklahoma, those rights are protected by law, but it takes all of us to make sure they are upheld in practice.
