On behalf of the Wyandotte Amateur Radio Repeater Association, WY8DOT.

We would like to offer our sincere condolences to the family of Bill N8RWF as bill became a silent key on October 31st. Bill was an active participant of the Wyandotte repeater and occasionally would run our Tuesday night net. 73s Bill you will be greatly missed.

Well, I after a long way too long (and we apologize) process of diagnosing and repairing the repeater the WY8DOT is back on the air from high atop Wyandotte hospital Thank you everyone for your patience, it took a lot longer than we hoped but I think you’ll enjoy having it to its peak operation once again.

We are finally in the process of restoring the main repeater, We apologize for the LONG period of time while operating on the backup system we should be back on the main system soon. WARRA.

WE ARE BACK!!!
Today we compleated the replacement of the repeater and it is now back and operating from high atop of the Wyandotte Hospital.

Motorola Quantar with our Arcom controller all back in our original cabinet.

So try it out and leave us a message, let us know where you’re at and how it sounds. 👍

WY8DOT - The Wyandotte repeater association, Regrets to announce the passing of Clarence KD8MGT. Clarence was a regular participant of the Tuesday night Motor City Radio Club 2 meter net. And always had a cheerful way of checking in. He will missed. We offer our deepest sympathy to his family and friends at this time. 73’s Clarence.
