We talked briefly about Chained CPI at last week's Wyandotte Dem Club meeting and I thought it would be helpful to post this short video with a few more details. Please take a moment to watch it, then call your senators, your representative, and the president to weigh in on this issue. It's important for all of us, whether we're close to retirement age or not. It takes two seconds to call, and yes, you can call on the weekend and leave a message. Let's flood their mailboxes so that they hear us loud and clear: DON'T GO THERE! No compromise, no "Grand Bargain" that steals away the hard-earned dollars we pay forward. Social Security is not a bargaining chip. And neither are we. Please call today and every day until this is off the chopping block. GO!

Thinking of all of you today and what we did TOGETHER. Great thanks to everyone who made this day possible. I am holding close the memories of working with you those many long days, and thinking about the hundreds of offices like ours - and I am reminded, again, that the power of committed people can truly make a difference.
