Tonight, 8 members of our Fire Department were honored alongside Police Officers and Emergency Dispatchers by Mayor DeSana, Fire Chief Moline, Police Chief Hamilton, and the City of Wyandotte. They were recognized for their critical roles in suppression operations, evacuation efforts, traffic control, scene security, and protecting vulnerable senior residents at the American House Senior Living Complex in Southgate.

Today, members of the Wyandotte Fire Department had the opportunity to visit Wilson Middle School for Career Day! Our firefighters had a great time talking with the students and sharing what it’s like to serve our community. We hope all the kids enjoyed it as much as we did.
