🚑 Wyanet Rescue Seeks EMS Volunteers!
What We’re Looking For:
-Wyanet Rescue is actively seeking volunteer EMTs, EMRs, and those interested in emergency response to support our Bureau County community through essential EMS services.
-Your involvement would directly help reduce response times and improve patient outcomes, keeping our community safe and well-served.
How You Can Help:
-EMR & EMT Training: Training sessions are available through nearby programs—EMR classes may run in Princeton, and local agencies often sponsor these programs.
-On-Call Support: Once certified, volunteers can assist in Wyanet and/or neighboring areas, assisting with ambulance calls, patient care, and transport.
-Community Resilience: Contributing your time ensures that emergencies are handled promptly, making a real difference in life-or-death situations.
Get Started Today:
-Email us at [email protected] to express your interest.
-Sign up for upcoming EMR/EMT classes in the county—and let us know if you'd like help registering or finding sponsorship.
Local EMS services are facing staffing shortages—many small departments rely entirely on volunteers to respond to medical emergencies.
By stepping up, you'll join a vital network of volunteers keeping our small-town EMS system strong!

Please, please stay home unless you absolutely must go out. For essential works, be sure to have snacks, water and a way to help conserve your body heat in the event you are stuck for awhile. A sleeping bad and hand warmers are great for this.
