🏠📖 Reading Engagement Night — TOMORROW!
Join us Thursday, September 3rd from 5:30–7:00 p.m. at Dodd Elementary for an evening of reading, learning, and family fun! We hope to see our Dodd families there! 💚

🎉📚 13th Annual Reading Parade — FRIDAY!
This Friday, September 4th, our Dinos are invited to dress as their **favorite book character** and help us celebrate our love of reading!

👀 Families are invited to watch the parade in the front parking lot beginning at 8:00 a.m.

We can’t wait for two fun-filled days of celebrating reading with our Dodd Dinos! 🦖📚✨

This year’s district theme is HOME, and at Dodd, we want every Dino to know that Dodd is a place where they belong! To bring this theme to life, we are sorting students into their Ron Clark Academy Houses as part of our first Wylie Way Day.

We may be four different Houses, but together, we make one Dodd family and one place we are proud to call HOME! 🏠🦖💚

Please note: Our students have not received their new PTA House shirts just yet, but don’t worry! Shirts will be distributed by Wylie Way Day, so students will have their new shirts ready to wear as we celebrate together.💚

We had the best Dino Beat this morning. Our Dinos were responsible and respectful, and we are so proud. Houses were introduced to students, and Mrs. Hennig led the students in House Cheers. These Dinos will learn what house they will be sorted into on 9/16. We can’t wait!

Don't forget! Next week, we have some really exciting events happening at Dodd. Our Reading Engagement Night will be on September 3rd from 5:30pm-7:00pm. We hope to see all of our families at the event.

Our 13th Annual Reading Parade is Almost HERE!
We are so excited to celebrate our 13th Annual Reading Parade on Friday, September 4th!

Each Dino is encouraged to dress as their favorite book character and join us for this special celebration of reading! Parents are invited to watch the parade, which will take place outside our building beginning at 8:00 a.m.
