🎉 Celebrating Our Amazing Raiders! 🎉

At our August staff meeting, we had the opportunity to celebrate some incredible members of our Burnett family! 💙💛

🍎 Teacher of the Month: Tasha Thomas
Tasha is a risk taker who is always looking for ways to grow and improve her craft. She makes learning FUN through hands on instruction and is a fantastic team lead. We are so lucky to have her leading and learning alongside our Raiders!

💻 Paraprofessional Pro: Timothy Middleton
Timothy is our go to tech problem solver! He is always available, patient, and supportive, and consistently makes decisions based on what is best for students. We appreciate everything he does to support our students and staff!

🏠 HOME Award: Coach Maclean
Coach Mac was nominated by her fellow teachers for our HOME Award, which recognizes staff members who are truly “Built for This.” She puts in the work every day, helps us hold the line, and is an incredible leader for our Lady Raider Athletics program.

👏 Help us celebrate Mrs. Thomas, Mr. Middelton, and Coach Maclean! We are so thankful they call Burnett HOME! 💙💛

It's here! Fall sports begins this week!

🏈Football kicks off on Tuesday against Williams Middle School with showings by Burnett JH Cheer 📣 & BJHS Sweethearts @ Shaffer Stadium 5:30 / 6:30 pm💃

🏐Volleyball starts their season with home-opener against Williams Middle School on Thursday at 5:30/6:30/7:30 pm!

📸 Learning from the pros!

A huge thank you to Mrs. Thedford and Mr. Halperin from our district Communications Team for spending time with our yearbook students! Even more special, former Burnett yearbook student Tori Thedford joined them to share her experience with our current Raiders! 💙

They shared photography tips, taught students how to work with cameras, and gave them some great pointers on capturing the moments that tell our Raider story. 📷

We are so grateful for their time, expertise, and dedication to our kids. Thank you for investing in our Raiders! 🏴‍☠️💙
