What a day. What a community! 💚🍏

The 2026 Race for Education on April 11th brought hundreds of runners, walkers, and supporters together, and collectively raised $21,500 for the students and educators of the Cheltenham School District 🎉

These funds go directly toward senior scholarships, innovative classroom programs, and educational experiences that open doors for our kids. None of could have happened without you.

A huge thank you to our incredible sponsors, especially our champion sponsors Down 2 Earth Design, Jefferson Health , and Ahmad Zaffarese LLC as well as the other local businesses and partners. Their generosity powers our mission. We want to shout out Cheltenham Township Parks & Recreation for helping make the day unforgettable, the CHS Pep Band for keeping the energy alive on the course, and Chiara Simon of the @ CHS Vocal Arts program for a truly beautiful National Anthem. 🎶 Also huge thanks to students from the CHS Media Club for their great work documenting the fun!

We’re not fooling! Prices go up on April 1st for adults, so don’t delay on securing your spot for a great event for a great cause! Our 5k run, officially timed by Run the Day will be the perfect way to set a new PR. Or, enjoy a stroll during the 2 mile walk with friends, family and neighbors. Either way, you’ll feel wonderful knowing you are supporting education in your community!

Attention Class of 2026 and your parents & guardians! Scholarship applications are LIVE! Make your plan now for getting your application in by 11:59 PM on Friday, April 17th to be sure you qualify! A letter of recommendation and an application is required, so don’t wait until the last minute.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors and community, we have scholarships for all kinds of students, honoring a variety of achievements and post-graduate paths. For example, we will be awarding scholarships recognizing perseverance, grit, life skills, service and overcoming obstacles in addition to academic achievement. We’ve got scholarships for students attending your year colleges, technical/vocational school, community college, or pursuing entrepreneurship.
